Let me ask you a question...

 

What’s the sense of all the blood, sweat and tears shed training, if the training fails to improve your everyday life?

 

I mean, who cares if you get better doing something inside the gym, when it doesn’t translate into real-world benefits?

 

Ok, that was two questions.

 

I think you’ll agree, you’re wasting your training time if you fail to improve usable fitness.

 

And if you’re like me, you want every second spent training to result in useful improvements.  Improvements like more strength, power, coordination and cardiorespiratory endurance.  Now those are physical traits you can use every day to live a better, more successful life.

 

If you’ve agreed with me so far, then you’ll understand my frustration when I see one of the greatest fitness tools poorly used, misused or just plain ignored.  The dumbbell is that tool.  Simple, effective and versatile, the dumbbell can improve more fitness abilities than a gym full of shiny, expensive, fitness machines.

 

But, people continue to ignore proper dumbbell training.  Big mistake!

What Is Fitness Anyway?

 

All right, who can tell me what fitness is?

 

Who said, “Fitness is being fit”?  Drop and give me 20!

 

No, fitness is the ability to perform in all the physical abilities of cardiorespiratory endurance, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, accuracy and toughness.

 

The higher your performance in all the abilities, the fitter you are.  And the more circumstances you can successfully use your abilities, the better your fitness level.

 

Put simply, fitness is your physical readiness to survive the unpredictable challenges of life, both in the gym and out!

Dumbbells are the handheld, super tools of fitness improvement.  No other piece of equipment is as versatile, effective and efficient as dumbbells.

 

They beat out exercise machines every time.

 

Just think about it...
