Apple Accessories VS. Other Brands56.

When it comes to technology and creating the coolest and newest device, it is well known that Steve Jobs & Co. are way ahead of the curve Apple has dominated the industry. They have more CASH than the United States Government (76-73.7 Billion), and are now a better investment! I dont know if this is cool for Apple, or just embarrasing for the US government. Either way, Apple will continue to risewith each new release of the iPhone and iPad, because we all want them!
As iPad 3 and iPhone 5 rumors spread the globe, Im constantly thinking what new things can be created? iPad 3 can somehow serve as an umbrella?? iPhone 5 will pour you beer as the new commercial suggests? I wouldn't be surprised
As far as tech devices go, Apple will continue to dominate the game. However, I am not sure the same can be said for accessories for your iPads
With Apple accessories, it seems to be more fair. Therefore, I will take a look at Apple accessories compared to other 3rd party accessories
I wish it will lead to a conversation from others, who have also used or seen both.
iPad 2 Cases-Apple Smart Cover
When we start with iPad accessories, the first place to start is with cases. Apple made available its Smart Cover along with the iPad 2. I have the black smart cover which now sells for about $70..
As with all Apple products, the smart cover is very sleek and looks amazing. It attaches to the case by a magnetic strip on the left side and easily lifts off the case. When the cover is opened, it turns on, and likewise off whenthe cover is put back.
Personally, the cover doesn't protect my iPad 2 enough. It only helps the front of the iPad, leaving the back open for scratches, falls, etc., things you need to think of if you want to sell, as I will be upon the release of the next device. You can also use the smart cover as a stand in two angles, similar to many others
Simply put I think the smart cover is a good Apple product that simply doesn’t provide enough protection for my iPad 2. With the numerous other cases available outside of Apple, it is fairly safe to say there is better options out there.
Cases are of vital importance for iPad 2’s, so it isn't surprising that there are numerous 3rd party brands out there. I have heard and read on practically all and boughten several myself. Many of these cases including Zagg.com, dodocase.com, yourtabletcase.com, and
Marware have excellent cases that will give you great protection for your expensive iPad in better ways then Apple’s smart cover will. Soon, I will review these cases, and numerous other brands, and will decide on which case will be the best value for your device.
While I will soon review other cases, I want to say that when it comes to cases, Apple’s smart cover gives smaller value compared to others in the market.
